# Brief

> Use Brief to orient yourself to the day.

Brief is the daily orientation surface in the Portal. It helps you understand what is important now
before you jump between tasks, customers, and systems.

## What Brief Can Include

Brief content depends on your Organisation, connected systems, and rollout status. It may include:

* items that need attention
* upcoming work
* customer or conversation context
* reminders or follow-ups
* operational signals from connected systems

## How To Use Brief

Read Brief as a starting point for the day. It is most useful when you use it to decide what to
open next:

1. Scan the priorities.
2. Open items that look time-sensitive.
3. Move to Inbox or Needs you when Brief points at something actionable.
4. Ask Trix for context if you need a summary before acting.

  If Brief looks light, check whether your integrations are connected and whether your team has
  activity available for Trivexis to summarise.
