# Inbox And Needs You

> Understand the difference between communication activity and human-review work.

Inbox and Needs you are related, but they are not the same thing.

## Inbox

Inbox is for reviewing communication and customer activity that may need attention. It is the place
to understand what has come in, what changed, and what might deserve a response.

Use Inbox when you want to:

* review customer conversations
* inspect inbound activity
* prepare a follow-up
* ask Trix for a summary before responding

## Needs You

Needs you is for work that requires explicit human attention. That can mean a decision, approval,
review, or intervention.

Use Needs you when you want to:

* review a draft before it goes out
* approve or reject a proposed next step
* resolve an item Trix cannot safely complete alone
* handle work that needs judgement from your team

## Practical Difference

Inbox helps you understand communication. Needs you helps you clear human-review blockers.

  If an item appears in Needs you, do not treat it as automatically approved. It is there because a
  person should check it.
