Inbox and Needs you are related, but they are not the same thing.

Inbox

Inbox is for reviewing communication and customer activity that may need attention. It is the place to understand what has come in, what changed, and what might deserve a response. Use Inbox when you want to:
  • review customer conversations
  • inspect inbound activity
  • prepare a follow-up
  • ask Trix for a summary before responding

Needs You

Needs you is for work that requires explicit human attention. That can mean a decision, approval, review, or intervention. Use Needs you when you want to:
  • review a draft before it goes out
  • approve or reject a proposed next step
  • resolve an item Trix cannot safely complete alone
  • handle work that needs judgement from your team

Practical Difference

Inbox helps you understand communication. Needs you helps you clear human-review blockers.
If an item appears in Needs you, do not treat it as automatically approved. It is there because a person should check it.
